Millermatic 140 with 'Auto Set' feature

My first welder: Millermatic 140 w/AS & cart. Picked up an auto-dimming Speedglas mask for 50% off MSRP (display model). Bought a 60# tank, Miller gloves ($17 sale) at Arc Source in NH while on a roadtrip..

Also went with a larger spool of .30 and extra tips, etc so I wouldn't have to run back real soon. All together a little over $1,200 thanks to one of my father's clients being a friend..

I've also taken a welding class at the local votech, with a solid introduction to MIG welding and a brief intro to TIG welding.

1970 Mustang 429 Boss (Mad Max/Road Warrior conversion in 1/24 scale)

1970 Mustang 429 Boss
(Mad Max/Road Warrior conversion)

Proof that I am capable of finishing what I start... Sometimes.

I modified a 1/24 scale Revell 1970 Mustang to my interpretation of what a 'Mad Max' character might drive in a post-apocalyptic America. The idea was take a pre-modified Mustang race car and give it a little boost with a blown super charged 429ci engine. I then added a couple large tanks of
juice in the truck, banged it up a bit, and add a few subtle Road Warrior details to it.
