Online dating..

I've been on online dating sites for a little while now, just waiting really for the right one to come along.. I always search Google for whatever I can from their profiles before sending ANY kind of reply, 90% of the time its obvious SPAM. WORST ONLINE SITES I've seen yet: singlesnet.com, friendjungle.com, among some others I can't think of at the moment. I like ChristianMingle.com (I pay for it, but its been well worth it), not much success on eHarmony yet.
I actually met 2 great female friends who I chat with/hang out with all the time on ChristianMingle.

TogetherChristian is unfortunately a HUGE RIP OFF organization that asks you to come in for a free interview where you'll talk to a beautiful young lady (salesman) for a while, then after they run your credit report they'll try to convince you that you need them or you will never meet the right girl. The 3 price ranges they offered me? From $12,000 to $4,000!!!!!!!! Seriously. ($4,000 only buys you 5 BLIND dates over a 1 year period of time! They choose them for you without allowing you to see them and they set up the date. Can you believe that!?) Amazing some people will pay this kind of price. I kept turning it down, so at the end when the saleswoman got the hint I wasn't going to go for that deal she offered me a special discounted one-time-only, now-or-never 'bargain' of 3 dates for $1,000. Needless to say when I turned it down she crimpled-up (is that a word?) the sheet of paper I filled out right in front of me and handed me my jacket. This is absolutely the true story and I wanted to share it with others who may get sucked in. Just say no, you have alternatives to paying big bucks to these sleazy con-artist salespeople! Yes, it may take some time, but if you are actually serious about finding someone you will enjoying being friends with and possibly moving on from there, you have to give it time. If all you want is a quick hookup then spend $50/month or whatever it costs and join some adult friendfinder site and don't waste everyone else's time, please.

Best of luck to the fellow single men and women out there, and remember; when it seems like there is no hope- you are out there, I am out here, and so are thousands of REAL single people looking for quality people. Of course they are tons of fake profiles out there, and you definitely need to be careful, but don't be discouraged by the SPAMMERS and frauds. When the time is right you will find him/her.
